Skoolies aren’t as common as other types of RVs, but they’re still popular enough to host occasional camping events. The Bus Fair (a cute wordplay of bus fare) happens in Oregon during the summer. It’s a loose, relaxed event that features 30 unique skoolies that can be toured and explored. There’s also live music, food trucks, local art vendors, and educational seminars about converting a school bus into a full-time camper. Check out this event if you’re interested in DIY conversions! RV and camping events aren’t always about the latest and greatest new models. Sometimes it’s fun to enjoy the simple things in life, such as older vintage trailers! The TRAILERFEST Vintage Trailer Rally is a wonderful opportunity to visit a nostalgic era of RVing. Fun is the main goal of this rally! There are pinewood derby races, cornhole tournaments, swap meets, live music, food trucks, and much more. If you have a vintage trailer or just want to join in the fun, put TRAILERFEST on your list. |
